  34. !POP is a POP3 mail transport for use with Freenet/Acorn TCP/IP.  It will
  35. fetch e-mail from one or more POP mailboxes and can also send outgoing
  36. e-mail (using SMTP).

  38. POP is only a transport - unless you are a massochist you will also need
  39. some mail management/reading software.  Newsbase and TTFN are recommended.
  40. !POP stores its mailboxes in standard formats, so other packages may work.
